Solo Exhibition "Unlocking The Past" displays my photographs of the Joliet Prison at the Gaylord Building in Lockport highlighting community efforts in the preservation and adaptive reuse of the Old Joliet Prison. I visited the prison site in Fall 2015 with the objective of photographing the architectural elements visible from outside the prison walls. My images capture the unique legacy of William W. Boyington, one of Illinois’ most important early architect. The exhibit ran from February 4th, 2016 to January, 2017. During this time, it was published in the Woodridge Suburban Life Newspaper, Herald News, News Release, The Lewis Flyer and The Times Weekly.
